The PENN® Squall is the evolution of the legendary PENN GT levelwind reels. The lightweight yet super-strong reinforced graphite frame and sideplates house bronze main gears and stainless steel pinion gears, all made smooth by a 2+1 stainless steel bearing system. The instant anti-reverse bearing is backed up by a silent ratchet system, and the forged aluminum spool is etched with line capacity rings so you can know how much (or how little) line is left on the spool. And finally, the HT-100 Versa-Drag system exerts smooth pressure on big fish, helping you manage every fight.
